Leonids Photoshoot

The Milky Way

Date: 18 November 2017

Time: 15:00 – ? Pacific

Location: Dante’s View, Death Valley, California

I’ll be here to shoot the Leonids Meteor Shower. The Leonids are one of the lesser meteor showers, spawning approximately 10-20 meteors per hour. I’m planning to take a lot of photos, and feed those photos into Deep Sky Stacker to make the event seem more impressive than it will probably be. I’ll be staying until I feel like I have the photographs I want.

But I’m planning to get to Dante’s View early enough to shoot some sunset photographs, start trails, and the Milky Way, even though the galactic center won’t be visible.

If you’re interested in joining me, enter a comment below, and/or contact me through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, phone (leave a message), or email. Links to social media are in the footer, as is my phone number and email address.

I’ll update with some sample photographs following the photoshoot.
